Hindsight is a wonderful thing, if she appeared to be in no immediate danger then i don't see what else they could have done. If they started giving lifts to everybody who asked they would end up being a free taxi service all the time.
At the same time it must be upsetting for the woman's family.

Even before the event, individuals should be making arrangements for safe transportation home - otherwise don't put yourself in a situation where you have to walk home at stupid o'clock, especially if you are female.

Individuals need to take responsibility to avoid this situation.

No one deserves to die after a night out but that's the world we live in where nutters are allowed freedom, certainly in this country...

Not actual Police, just 'specials', funny she could find a car full of 'Police' in Mapperley (nice & quiet, low risk area) but no-one around to help her in St Anns (crime ridden third-world s*it-hole)...

Going completely the wrong way to get from Mapperley to Top Valley too, if she was going home she needed directions from someone...maybe the Police could have helped...
