CarPlay E-Class 2018?

Hello folks
First post. I’ve just bought a March 2018 E Class cabrio and it was my understanding that it had Apple Car Play. Am I incorrect? I’ve tried connecting my iPhone via the two USB connectors in the central storage area but nothing happens. I’ve been online and found a video which said I should connect it via a USB port labelled with a phone pic, but my car only appears to have two generic USB ports.
Any help gratefully received.

Update - I’ve just spoken to the dealer who supplied it new who has confirmed it does not have CarPlay fitted. Can anyone advise if this is something that can be added without too much hassle and expense please?
