I was doing a dry run for my new carplay/android auto unit this morning, when half way through I was called into work (on my day off).
I left unit connected, placed MB radio back into the hole, without pushing it back all the way, and drove off.
The radio didn't switch on. Didn't worry too much about that as maybe left something loose, but the problem was that the main driving lights were on high beam and error on dash saying auto-dip lights not working.
I pulled over and unplugged unit and reconnected original cables and all fine.
Has anybody any idea why these cables should affect the lights in this way?
It'll be another week before I get another chance to try again, just trying to get ahead of any issues.
