Can anyone tell me what the follwoing fault code 'B9CFF' refers too, I know its related to the restraint system..

I'm afraid you should read codes with the Star Diagnosis tool. "9CFF" refers to an issue at the pyro-fuse on the main power supply cable (drive signal resistance). I cannot even remember if there is one on a C-class (and you don't mention which exact C-class car this is).

Hi thanks, with advice from a well known member of this forum I bought carsoft what a big mistake this has been.. €1400 out of pocket oouch !!!!

Old Carsoft clones sell at about 100 Euros but this one must be the later version with USB interface. I've never seen it myself but it should support cars up to 2009 (most likely not all models). He ordered the tool but did not get any. Paypal refunded the payment. Then after a couple of months the tool came with a bill inside the box. He paid something like 420 Euros for it. That is without a laptop.

At 1000 you can get a high quality MB tool (clone) with an old laptop, all included.

The Carsoft version I have is the USB Ver 10 (3 in 1) ultimate pro. I am NOT pressed thus far with what it can do, which is NOTHING, if matters can't get any worse the after sales has been terrible as well.

Unlike the advice I received, stay clear of Carsoft unless you have lots of money to waste, sadly I didn't.
