Cast wheels

As you guys know I've just put Mirzam MB wheels on my car and very nice they look too! Since ptting them on two people have stopped me in the street and said they look nice, They both said they are "Cast" alloys and you ought to put locking nuts on because they are very desirable. I am getting locking wheel nuts but what with this CAST business and what is it better than??

I expect all alloy wheels are cast, just sounds like the process they are made to me.

Hmmm. I dont know both people seemed to be referring to it in a "better than normal" ind of way. I really dont know how alloy wheels can be made.
