    I guess there are more comedians amongst bikers than MB owners.

    When I was young I used to go to the Speedway at Belle Vue (later at Halifax and Cradley-Heath).
    Always loved the smell of Castrol R.
    It was part of the night-out.

    In the early-70s, I bought a Velocette 500 Sports bike.
    Immediately - the smell was there.
    Great - I thought - Smells like old times.
    What a bad mistake.
    Engine was utterly-fornicated ... Stick goo everywhere ... Big-end bearing nackered ... You name it.
    Don't anybody think about trying it in an MB !!!

    I had a spell where I used it in my Ariel Arrow, great smell but it did clog things, so reverted to normal oil.
