Thanks....absolutely priceless..:bannana: :bannana: :bannana:

Bah ... a silly thread about a guy who bought a crashed car off his brother who then swapped the number plates with his brother to hide the cars history. Brother may also be friend or cousin.

It was boring.

I've got to page 23 and it is getting out of hand but a great read with some excellent research. ;)

The thread is doing the rounds. I beleive the forum has actually been down for periods due to the totally abnormal load it has had.

Such foolishness to do anything of the sort with a numbered limited edition, specialist car on a close knit specialist community.

Very Interesting :)

My eyes hurt..

Thanks for the post - nice to see peeps looking after their own... I would hate to buy a dodgy car and would hate to know of anyone else who has....life is too precious and money too hard to earn...

Just read a few pages - there were 825 people reading it at the same time. Very funny in parts. Excellent detective work exposing a dodgy dealer, who then just dug himself deeper instead of accepting he'd been rumbled. As Crockers said, nice to see them looking after their own.

There was a guy on the Saab site I visit who was "selling off his Saabs due to no room now I've moved house". Next thing you know he's asking about buying other ones that are up for sale. Few months later the same cars turn up on ebay at double what he paid. Really bugs me.

Thing is VX220's aren't common so a small community can grow around them ...other marques aren't like that...

I suppose its a bit like a SLK only forum......

dear god my eyes , my eyes lol.!!"

totally well and truely owned!

Wouldnt it be funny if someone turned up who knew the original damaged car.............................
