Hi

my wife’s car had problems starting quite frequently. Indie suggested battery was old and needed replacing but only purchased it 18 months ago.
Found a Bosch replacement starter motor and fitted it last week. Starts like a dream now but it is quite a job. Took me 4 hours as you have to take the intake manifold off. Fuel rail and the starter motor sits in the V of the engine bay. There was a lot of dirt etc so cleaned it all out.

I was quite apprehensive starting this job but was not too bad just took me a while to get 2 electrical connectors off. If I had to do it again would probably take me half the time. I followed the instructions from the pelican parts website. Apart from 1 or 2 minor differences they were spot on.
