Further to my thread of 14th June (SLK R170 CD Changer upgrade for Audio 10), and the excellent information provided by Miro and Jom, I am now ready to install the MC3198 fiber optic CD changer.
My question today relates to the three wire power supply loom (part number A210 540 5835). It connects to the changer at one end, but does anyone know where the black wire, brown wire and blue/black wire are supposed to connect at the other end please?
I expect some or all of the wires will be inserted into the din connectors at the back of the Audio 10 head unit, but I don't know which.
Even knowing just what the respective coloured wires should be fed with would be useful (ie positive, negative, ignition live etc), if anyone knows...
