Cd Changer questions!

Have just got a clk w209,at first I couldn't get the changer to work,it did not see any discs? gave the discs a wipe (worked ok in my other cars changer) did get it to work,my questions are ; are these changers sensitive or perhaps it needs a clean, not all the the discs contents and titles are displayed on the comand unit is this the changer or do not all cd display in this manor (these are current and modern albums)

Hi and welcome I believe you have to add the CD titles using the COMAND system? I've only had mine for a few weeks and haven't had any time to play around with the ins and outs of it but I'm sure someone will be along soon with some definitive answers

Not all CDs have CD-Text - in my collection I reckon about 1% have it.

You also have to have a compatible player in order to read it too.
