Hi all,
I have a factory fitted 6 disc changer.
Unfortunately I think it's the 6th disc that is stuck in the player and the tray won't retract to eject the unit.

Has anyone come across this problem or does anyone know a way to remove it - it will not play or eject.

Cheers

Good luck with that. I had the same thing a few months back with my Audi, they replaced the head unit and have had to send the original to Germany to be investigated and if I am lucky they will send me the cds in about another three months time :(

Apparently CDRs and CDRWs are just slightly thicker than normal CDs and they get stuck - poor design if you ask me.

Hi,
I have your same problem on my W169 a-class, but my story is different. I mean, at the beginning the tray didn't want to eject the cd-magazine.
After I continued to push the button and now I think that the tray is disconnected (I see that it is not supplied).
Have someone the way (and the photos) which explains how we can unmount our cd-changer?
Thanks a lot

Same thing happen to a guy I know lives near me and he opened the cd changer and took the disc out and everthing was back to normal after that. It work fine.:bannana:

If you know this, is it more difficult pull out the magazine from the tray without removing no screws???

How could I unmount my cd magazine?

Now my audio 10 tells no-mag as error message on display.

Regards

OK, but I saw that there are more screws which are in strange positions (2 up the CD-magazin and 4 on the sides of CD-magazin).
Is it right or not?
However it seems that the CD-magazin not is supplied.
Have you same photos about the unmounting of CD-magazin?
