center console covering replacing w213

i have the crappy gloss black glossy center console thats scratched to high heavens but is now totally silent no creaks or groans at all (thank you fabric tape! so id like to replace it or recover it. there are options for stickon shells from aliexpress etc but im not sure of the quality and the fit and finish of them has anyone used any of them ? or i could replace it with another genuine trim panel but what one would go best with the silver dash trim? (i cant replace it all unfortunatly due to the rear have heated seats and im yet to find replacements that have the button holes )

I changed mine for the black ash wood, goes well with the silver trim, breaks it up a bit, I prefer it, rather then all the trims in black ashwood.

The one part of my SL that I've never been 100% happy with is the silver brushed aluminium trim on the dash and door cards. So I bought some vinyl wrap in black brushed aluminium and set to it this afternoon. I'm quite pleased although it took all afternoon and I still have the door cards to do...
