central locking inop

hi i'm having problems at the moment with my 1996 c180 with its central locking system. had the air pump re-newed at beginning of year and two weeks ago the central locking just stopped working. has any one please got any ideas?

Hi Mark, the system is all vacuum, can you hear the pump run as you try and lock

no noise at all i'm wondering if my key is playing up

Try using the button in the car if that works then it is probably the key batteries or needs re synchronising.
