I'm new to this forum; I have a couple of problems with my C230 Coupe 2001.
The first one is the central locking isn't working off the fob. It works using the switch inside the car. I have changed the battery in the fob and the light in the fob is coming on. It was working if i put the key right up next to the IR sensor in the drivers door handle but, that has since stopped.
I have checked all the fuses e.g., Fuse 8 in the rear fuse box.
I have read it could be the amplifier inside the boot, attached to the window. I have had a look and removed it but, i can't see a problem. I can see a slight crack in the little rubber like black rectangle box, apparently this is a parasitic amplifier?.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Also my parking sensors arnt working. The switch on the dash to turn them on and off has a little LED in it. That isn't even coming on and there no noise either the lights on the big parking sensor LED block right at the front of the dash, don't come on either.
