Central locking problem with 190e

I've just had a brand new thatcham alarm installed and the central locking no longer works from the passenger door (never worked from drivers door anyway), they did take out the old alarm completely which was the old red skorpian system whch was unplugged but had a bridged terminal, I'm guessing this would have been attached to the central locking system and is this what is causing the central locking system not to work from the passenger door?, the central locking still works from the boot though
