Centre Console

There is a rattle/catching noise, sound of something spinning and catching from the centre console area, when I rev it in neutral it's not there, but when I put it in drive as I accelerate the catching noise gets louder and faster. Any ideas? 320 CDI Sport 7G.

The propshaft central bearing if there is any?

Parking brake cable rubbing on propshaft? The clips holding the cable in place are famous for breaking.

Think you was right! Parking break cable was loose, so I've tightened the parking breaking now seems to have gone, hopefully problem sorted.
