Has anyone changed brake pads on a 2017 GLC Coupe? I got the pads and sensor (apparently there is only a sensor on one side) and looking to fit them this weekend.

Anything to look out for?

Yes (well on a non coupe, but its the same), You need to put the parking brake in service mode (from the hidden instrument cluster menu), and make sure all the pads go in the correct way up etc :)

Thanks. Have you got a link to getting into the hidden menu?

Came to change them yesterday, got the wheel off and came to realise that it wasn’t the front pads as the sensor was still intact.

Took the rear wheel off and the sensor was in shreds. Off to Mercedes I go to swop the pads.

I assumed you were doing all 4. Now you are doing the rears you will need to know about the parking brake!!!

Do check your brake disk thickness (but it varies by model so I dont know what it should be on yours)
