Hi,
2010 W212 with 51k miles and a broken front spring. I've bought 2x OEM MB Sport Springs and 4x Lemforder ARB drop links.
I'll pay someone to do the springs and probably do the ARB links myself, unless they don't charge much for the additional labour - the front ARB drop links need to be loosened at one end at least to get the shock/spring out and the back ARB links take about 4 mins per side to change when on a lift but places seem to charge them as completely new jobs when quoting prices...
As the car has only done 50k+ miles I won't change the shocks, but do I need to buy any other parts e.g. rubbery bits, boots, mounts etc 'while you're in there'?
I'm not talking about the control arms, but things only accessible while the strut is out... I guess mostly the top mounts? I've never taken the strut out of a W212 so don't really know.
Cheers,
