changing w202 door

im going to put a new door on my w202, as the old one has rust bubbles all over it and is rusting at the bottom, is this straight forward as it seems,i have to strip the door card off and take the window out, anyone have any pointers for me,or is it straight forward

Unplug the door loom from either the pillar on early models or the sill on later ones, undo the torx for the check strap, undo the 2 nuts on the door pins, lift off door.

as nick says above,but i had a little extra work doing mine,i had to take out the window from my car, and put it in to the donor car door, as its a tinted window and change the door handle, and the mirror,it was my first time doing it and i enjoyed it, there,s nothing like diy

Did you have to transfer the lock/remote/door handle from the original door to the replacement door (and plug the electric cable) I wonder?
Must have been quite a job.
