Charge pressure too low

Hi,

My E270CDI developed a leak which was from one of the hose of the radiator. We found that out after dismantling the radiator. It was fixed but now my car is getting into limp mode (without any engine light). Star tells us that charge air pressure too low which points to intercooler hoses. I was with the mechanic the whole time and he didn't dismantle the intercooler hoses, we have checked the hoses but they are firmly in. While fitting the radiator back in they did juggle with inter cooler a bit. Any ideas what could be the issue?

Intake or boost leak of some sort by the sounds of it.

Thanks, but how do I narrow it down. I have checked the hoses to and from inter cooler.

Try spraying some brake cleaner while the engine is at tick over, it may pick up a little if you find the leak.

As you have access to STAR, there are some guided tests that can be done and values that can be checked (MAF, EGR etc). Check all the values first

Thanks. The small pipe from boost pressure sensor came off resulting in car going to limp mode.
