Asda are doing silly prices on selected chart CDs and lots of older ones are discounted too.

Online here or at the stores.

If you live locally to a store it's worth checking out the online prices as well on the older albums as there are some serious discrepancies - some we bought instore were priced at £5.97 but were £7.97 online but the chart ones all seemed to be cheaper online.

nope, but for certain CDs it's about half the price

just a few we bought today - mainly replacing vinyl or damaged Cds

Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense - Asda shop £5.97, Asda on line £8.97 Play £9.99

Beautiful South - Solid Bronze - Asda shop £5.97, Asda on line £8.97, Play £9.99

Springsteen - Devils and Dust - Asda Shop £7.97 Asda on line £8.27,Play £8.99

Springsteen - Essential collection - Asda shop £7.97, Asda on line £8.97, Play £12.99.

Robert Plant - Mighty Rearranger - Asda shop £7.47, Asda on line £7.97, Play £8.99

Play.com is one of my favourite places to buy back catalogue stuff but Asda are hammering them at the moment. As always it pays to shop around and Asda's shop offers are only on for another week.

The Asda prices look great! Got the new Oasis from Sainsburys the other day for £8.33 :bannana: will be there for Coldplay next week ;) or might go to Asda instead :D

Seems to be a bit of a price war going on - shame :p
