Cheap CLK55

Wow. I've never seen quite that many miles on a '55 AMG

Seen a few in the high-hundreds (180/190k) but 300k is something else.

Wonder how much that cost in petrol :o

Will

Missing part of the front bumper too! :p

Call it 300k miles @ 25mpg average (generous!). At a fiver a gallon, I think it's used £60,000s worth of petrol at today's prices - about as much as the car cost originally!

which bit of the bumper?

forget I said that, you mean the horizontal strake between the fogs

The centre bar, sits on the lower part between the fog lights etc.

Galactic is right, thats about 90 miles a day, EVERY DAY, since registration. Serious commuting that !!!!.

The good news seems to be that I won't need to worry about the drivers seat sagging too much in the next quarter of a million miles - HURRAH! :thumb:

Looking very smart too - can't see any rust on those arches.

Ad doesn't mention number of owners though.

I bet the owner enjoyd every mile though :)

WOW! That has to be one of the highest mileage AMGs in the country!
Another car I would love to buy simply to see how far it would go.

I wonder whether it's needed valve stem oil seals, or any other common 200K+ stuff...

I thought I was pushing it on 143K...

That's very impressive. It just shows how reliable these AMG V8's are.

Also the exterior looks pretty good for a car that's done loads of miles.

the mileage will put lots of people of. I'm sure you could chip quite a bit off the price if you turned up with cash in hand.

AMG should buy it, £4K is nothing for the amount of information they can get from an engine/car that's done that amount of real world mileage.
