Foot brake gave up the ghost on e320cdi, ho hum garage, big bill, nuisance, all went through my head so had little to do Sunday morning, got 6 year old son to undo cover under steering wheel, (my head doesn't like upside down) gave him torch pointed in direction of footbrake he comes back with broken spring off pawl, couldn't get him too put one back, so used mirror pointy pliers blimey it works! had too give him chocolate muffin for his labours and yes he put the cover back, he has also helped with changing wheel after puncture question is,is he any better or worse than local dealers, he has the edge on price I think on the muffin scale he is at 1 and they are at about 230 mind you his overheads are lower should I carry on with expensive school or advertise as Mercedes specialist.

I have a position open for your son :D I could stretch, at a push, 2 muffins :bannana:

Does he do chimney sweeping too?

What sort of guarantee/warranty does he give??

Careful, the Guardianistas will find out, inform social services, take your son away, send you on a course of 'parenting', sell your Mercedes and replace it with a Toyota Pious, before removing all leather from your house and force feeding your family with lentils!

Good on ya though! :)

They will never get him, I have got him hidden, he now has a value, he is on Big Brother next week and starts his own reality series after that where he will be expected to marry some annoying little brat called Jemina, when he finishes that, I expect him to Top soccer school and out drive Mr Schumacher before out putting Tiger Forest, but first I have to get him off the Muffins.

Is he available for running cables under floor boards??, I could stretch to a mars bar it that will entice him.

Can he change wash basin taps and waste pipes?

Mrs P would wilingly feed him for the day but, I being on the receiving end of her cooking for quite a while now  I think that Social Services would be looking to cart her off also . Good job she doesnt read my posts ;) .

Portzy.

And breathe....;)

I posted about 2 weeks ago but not had the chance to fix the intermitent squeak from the foot brake and a member suggested a bit of WD40 on the lever just under the cover - you wamt my address - will a boc of 'Heros' do? :)

Muffin Boy seems to have built up a steady stream of clients and is considering the implications of registering for M.A.T (Muffin added Tax) apparently chocolate ,his favourite has higher levels of duty, but he will be gainfully employed over his half term as an indicator bulb has blown and some Troskite has given him homework in a deliberate attempt to subvert his business activities, but I will introduce a booking system and try to fit his clients in between episodes of the Simpsons and riding his bike.
