I am having a few issues with my lights!
It would appear that the reverse lights have stopped working as have the Number plate lights. Now if this had just been the reverse lights I would assume that it was the selector switch that needed cleaning, but with the two gone I am am not so sure.
I have checked the bulbs and fuses and they are all fine.
The left hand mirror indicator has also gone, would this also trigger the check bulb warning?
Could there be a dislodged wire causing the problem with the reverse lights and NUmber plate light??

I had a similar problem. Whilst the fuse had not blown, the connectors had slightly oxidised. After rubbing the connectors with sandpaper all was ok again. It may not be the solution for you, but it's easy enough to try.

Is the fuse the same for the number plate and the reverse lights? it seems strange that they have both gone at the same time!
I think this may go deeper as the car wont fully turn off when the boot is open, and when I take the key out if the lights are on the dashboard lights all flash as well!

I have tried rubbing the connectors, no joy.
The fact that it is two things going into the boot lid makes me think it must be a connector there.

Is it worth checking the loom where it meets the boot/boot lid. I have heard of the wiring/insulation breaking up as it flexes.

Had another rummage and managed to get the number plate bulbs out...both blown.
Now I am assuming that it is the selector that is doing the reverse lights.
