Hey folks, wondering if I could pick your brains.

My check engine light came on a yesterday so I did as such. When I looked, there's a tube that has been unplugged and I don't know what this component is.

I'm sure somebody on here knows.

So what is this?

Could this be causing the check engine light?

If it is, do I still need to get the CIL reset by somebody or will it disappear?

Thanks!

Did you try reconnecting the tube and see if the check engine lamp extinguishes?

I've done this before when putting the airbox back on in a hurry. Also happens if you dont push the back of the airbox onto the MAF fully. P

Push it back on and the CEL should reset in a few journeys. if not a cheap OBDII reader to clear the code but i'm sure mine cleared on its own.

Seems to have done the trick. Check engine light has cleared.

Anybody know what that components is?
