I do not have an owners manual so I cannot refer that, but how the hell do I check the oil level on my E55? I've been through the menus cannot see anything. I have done the key to pos 1 and press reset 3 times thing but I am told that's not the correct way to do it?

    Am I being daft???

That's what I did, but I was under the impression that there was another way?

This is the reading I got after 5 mins of the car being off.

With the standard display (i.e. digital speed displayed) in the MFD, press the down arrow button on the steering wheel until the oil level option appears.

IGN on, engine not running but at operating temp.

How do you get the speed display? Mine doesn't seem to have it.
