Checking on recalls

Does anyone know if there is a website or any other point of information that I can consult to see whether my car (a 2004 W203) is/was subject to any recalls AND, if so, whether any problems have been rectified.
For example, I know that some W203's were recalled for a battery check. I would like to see whether my car was affected, and if so, whether the recall work was done.

The VOSA website has a lookup faclity for recalls on all vehicle models, but it does have to be a recall not a manufacturer's "product enhancement", i.e. it has to be a safety-related issue to be on the VOSA site. Other than that, I'd guess you'd need to look at MB's own systems.
