Checking sticking turbo vanes - recommendation in Cambridge

I’m after a recommendation.
Do you know someone within reasonable reach from Cambridge who can have a look at the turbo on my Merc (C220cd)?
Specifically I need someone to check if turbo vanes aren’t sticking. Many thanks for your help!

As above it's wastegated not variable vanes .

So does it mean the vanes can’t stick?

The car is overboosting and the turbo cuts out when I floor it in 2nd or 3rd gear. But it only happens between 2 and 3 K rpm AND only if I apply full throttle before 2k rpm. If I floor it at 2.5k rpm it revs freely.
Had the boost pipes checked, and replaced the boost sensor and the EGR valve.
