Hi,
I'm after a set of MB rear child seats for the W211 estate. The ones that pop up for kids but fold back down for adults.

Cheers

I think that this will require the complete seat (certainly the base, and the back too probably) to be replaced.

They are integral with the whole seat, not just an add-on. A breakers may be your best bet.

yes quite a lot needs adding to retrofit these - trim, seats, belts etc. more than just the seats required. You'll basically need the whole contents of the boot area from a scrapped vehicle.

He's already got a 7-seater. I believe it's the integral booster seats in the normal rear seats that he's after. But they are a whole chunk of the seat base which can be sprung upwards to act as a booster, yet can be folded down again afterwards to return the seats to normal. An expensive option on the option list I understand!

ah, i see. will probably be rare - try a specialist breaker

I had these on my W210. In our experience they were too easily knocked down by boisterous children, although did look a lot better.

Would not like trying to source one at a scrappy myself. What would the odds be of finding a car with this option and with the right type and colour of upholstery?

Forgot to say the I reckon you would just need the seat base. The base and back on mine were completely independant.
