chimney liner, bucket and wheel

I hope you realise you've got to knock holes in your interior walls to fit this properly ! A right messy old job.
 
Er, just thought,i might be wrong on the above ^, its only some applications where the chimney has to be flooded with concrete.
 
Is this for use with a log burner :)

I'm tempted myself, havn't got a log burner yet but would love one. I will not bid however you spotted it first.

I've no idea how much they are but it sounds good.
 
we have a " pretend " coal fire [gas] that looks great and is easy on/off but when the gas fire is on I can smell fumes upstairs and suspect the chimney is leaking. house is an old cottage with a proper stone built chimney, big enough for a boy to climb up it and give it a sweep which might have happened in the past. my plan is to have a bespoke hood fitted just out of sight with a liner fitted up to the chimney pot
