Hi folks,
I'm new to this site (as of today).
Was first looking for info as I busted my gearbox on friday and was waiting for the diagnosis from my buddy's transmission workshop.
Ends up the gearbox was wrecked!
Anyway, since i now have shelled out best part of a grand for the repair work, i was thinking about getting a chip for it.
Have heard that the torque converter can only really take the torque the engine currently provides but this seems debated some.
Any recommendations on a simple chip that won't cause the car to start eating fuel like a tramp on a ham sandwich and give me a decent power gain without killing another box?
