Worth shopping round on Fleabay for sure, some variances on prices for exactly the same stuff.

My W210 E280 had chrome headlamp surrounds on when bought, thought they were OK. There's a pic in my album if you want to see how they looked.

Some chrome mods can be tasteful, others are a bit naff to say the least, in particular headlight/tailight surrounds IMHO.

I have chrome speedo rings in my SL which I happen to think look very good but as previously said, each to their own.

Lots of 'chrome' stuff on ebay, especially ebay.com. The Americans love bling!

I like the chrome speedo surrounds , i had some on my w124.

But wing mirror covers , headlight and taillight surrounds as you say , are nasty.

As are the chrome covers that go in the little 'scoops' where the door handle is.
