Hi All

Im considering getting rid of my ML due to relibality problems ,theres constantly something going wrong with it probably the worst car we have ever owned !

My wife likes the Chrysler Grand Voyager , has anyone here got any information on these cars ? I would be looking at a 2.8 diesel around the 2006 2007 vintage. I have looked online but cant get any rally useful information .
Im not keen on them and would prefer a Hyundai Santa FE , but I here these give engine problems .

Any advise on these car would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think Ill be buying an MB this time as none suite our needs on budget.

Some fuel delivery problems with those diesels.

1. Cracked fuel filter housing, its located under the vehicle rear of center.

2. Fuel pump timing worn internals.

3. Leaking pressure switches on the fuel rail.

Cheers

Are these milage related issues ? what would the repair cost be roughly

@ 60-70,000 miles

Fuel filter housing has internal heating element that burns out and damages the housing body @ £200.00

The fuel pump and rail problems are subject to diagnosis parts and labour,
from £300.00 up to a £1,000.00

Depends on who what where really and how lucky you are !!
