cl amg 55 coupe

Not sure if its the same on the CL but my CLK had a drain that turned out to be the alarm siren! The internals just leak and make a mess, Others will know more and welcome to the club.
Tony.

Thanks for that I have checked this and my alarm with batttery was disconnected before I bought this car so I assume that was a problem of the past. Thanks any way again pete👍

I had a problem with the electrics on my CL55 a few years ago that caused me no end of problems. Turned out to be a very easy fix, a new earth strap from the engine/transmission to the chassis, cured everything.
Maybe worth a try as a quick, cheap and easy fix.

Good luck with your CL, wonderful cars and IMHO the best looking car MB have ever made.

Hi Pete, the strap is bottom at the rear. Even if your one looks good just put another one. It will do no harm and might just possibly help.

Matt
