?

On the
comand
2, 2.5 yes you can, I would be
reluctant
to do so as the eject system is not that good

thanks television, i have tried it out but it wont play them so been wondering for a while now if it should. is there something wrong ? it does the sat nav OK.

I have the same set up as you, It was only 2 weeks back that my son wanted to play his music and it worked fine, I do have the changer.

Does it say no disc when you try

yes i have the changer, when i put in audio CD nothing happens, if i press nav button i get insert dx disc i think. when you put yours in does it play automatically

Just been down and tried, as soon as the CD is in the head unit it overides any other setting and just plays

This is Comand 2 2.5 DX

With mine you have to press the CD button on the COMAND unit and then press the 0 (zero) button.

just been and tried again, even tried the 0 button but no joy! it does eject OK though

The SL has Comand 2 in it not 2.5. The CL and S class from earlier years has/had Comand 2.5.

Where is your sat-nav DVD palyer? Is it in the boot? Mine is. (CL500 2004)

I can play single CDs via the head unit.

Cheers,

its a 2001 so only cd loader in the boot & and sat nav disc goes in the comand in the dash
