Hi,

The rear windows have stopped working from either drivers door or rear console switches. When you open the door they drop a 1/4” ok.

Do you reckon the control module , or any other suggestions?

cheers,
Nicky

Check the wiring harness as it goes through the drivers door...Common fault on these cars to have broken wires in there...

Been there, Done that - with a soldering station and abunch of shrink tubes ... My '00 had pretty stiff wires and a number of them were broken. (Particularly the loudspeaker cables.) Be careful though when repairing. There is an AirBag in the door and the igniter cables runs along with the rest of the harness. It is possible to fix by carefully flipping the rubber hose away and reaching for tha harness but taking down the door panneling aids so that some connectors can be loosened. If the connection to the AirBag is broken when the key is in position 1 or reachable by the Keyless system, there will be an Error Code set which can only be resetted/cleared using a diagnostic tool. Make sure that the battery is disconnected and preferrably wait half an hour or so before attempting repair.
