Hope you can help. My CL has a strange clicking noise that sounds like it comes from the bottom right of the windscreen when it meets the dash.
It's directly linked to body movement/flex, going over bumps etc but I'm pretty sure its not suspension related. I've been over the suspension and I replace the lower ball joint a few months ago. You get a click when the body moves either up or down over a sharp bump. It's often not there over sleeping policemen etc where its a some suspension movement.
I had something similar on my BMW 6 Series that had standard strut brace that was also bolted to the firewall and these bolt came ever slightly loose.
It there a bolted cross bar in the dash or under the scuttle? Anyone had something similar?
