CL55 wood trim

Hi guys,

Well I have made the move into the merc's today and put a deposit on a cl55 AMG :bannana: One thing I am not overly keen on is the wood dash. Is it possible to replace it maybe with aluminum and update it?

Well they never made a aluminium dash option (thank goodness) but what you may be able to get is Birds Eye Maple wood which is black in colour with marbley inserts.

that would look a lot better with it having black leather could you possibly point me in the right direction?

I would hazard a guess that replacement trim is not going to be cheap! It cost me £750 to replace all the ali trim with birds eye maple in my 203

Being a CL its more likely to cost a LOT more especially if your CL has the half wood steering wheel option.

Yes it has the half wood steering wheel, looks like I will have to get used to it then.. My partner mentions a french polisher after all its wood, maybe they could do something to darken it?

That unusual as the CL55 did not come with a Wood/Leather Wheel only the full leather wheel.
