cl600 cd music player

Hi
I could not get the cd player in my cl (2001) to play burnt cd'sonly originals.
I have installed a card reader instead which takes memory cards but i cannot figure out how to label the tracks, so 20 cd's just show up as track 1,2,3 etc with no info. Does anyone know how to label the music so that it shows up on the screen in the car?
I have spent hours trying with no success.

i think you can only play cd's which have been burnt as an "audio cd", not an mp3 cd or data cd. If you use itunes to make a playlist, it should work this way

That's right, when using nero/burn4free or whatever software your using make sure you select audio cd this will encode the mp3 files in a way in which any home/car cd player will read the cdr with no problems.

The track number will then come up, although the artist and track title may not.
