CLA Shooting Brake Number Plate light replacement

I have a number plate light fail and I am having two issues
1. A problem getting hold of a bulb.
2. When I look at the tailgate I cannot see an obvious way to get o the clips of the number plate light.

Does any one have any ideas or solutions to the above problems?

If they are LED.s you may have to replace the complete lamp unit.
