Sadly even more visually challenging than its big brother. It's more van than estate.

Looks like a Lexus from the side and a wacky Lancia from behind ... nothing there takes my fancy and I am a real fan of the CLS shooting brake.

i can only agree, that car is eye cancer causing.
and yet again wheels that are far too small. what are they thinking at MB?!?!

The front over hang looks oddly out of proportion. Maybe something to do with pedestrian safety regs? Overall I don't think it looks that bad though, and I like the idea of a smaller estate.

I liked the original shooting brake but I have to say that I'm struggling with the design on this one a bit.

As Millo said, the front overhang looks huge. The whole car seems to have lost the smooth curves of the original. Maybe its the body camouflage confusing the eye - I hope so anyway.

CLA -- the ugliest car Mercedes currently makes.

Listen to all the grumpy old men in here!! :D

More worrying than the design is why it looks like that, the fact it is front wheel drive is probably the reason it has the front axle so far back, that is very Audi and they really suffer because of it.

Havent you noticed yet? everyone dislikes all new Mercs on here, but then buy them a year or so later ;)
