claiming investment in classic car has been a better investment in the last few years as price risen much more than things to compare with, long it my continue
 
For the majority of classic cars I'd be surprised if, once you factored in all costs (maintenance, insurance etc.), the IRR over the past five years was more than 10%.
 
was talking about jaguar E-type which a well known investment
 
Money is not why most of us own/drive classics
 
Am I the only to be a little sad that 'investors' are continuing to take such an interest in classic cars? I know it has always gone on to some degree but it seems like the chance for someone to own a classic car for the love of it are diminishing unless you have plenty of money to either buy or restore. Even erstwhile mass market cars seem to be fetching 'classic money' these days.
