CLC 180 misty brake light cluster

How easy is it to demist the brake light cluster on a 2009 model of the CLC180 Kompass ?.

Misty as in scratched? or misty as in, the inside has moisture it in?

It has moisture inside and is fogging up

The seal on the light unit will have a hole in it. you have 2 options:

1) Replace the light unit
2) Remove the light, glue/silicon sealant the hole in the seal, remove the moisture but putting it on a radiator (with the bulb holes upwards) overnight etc.

I have had the rear light cluster replaced (with a new Mercedes part) but I still have condensation in the unit - the garage assure me that they dried out the area completely. Does anyone have any suggestions.
