One last question; which thermostat should I choose? as I browsed online there’s only two options available for me. Anyone who have choose either one of these thermostats would share some recommendations

You need to get your part number from this website

Enter your vin and select engine , cooling and look for thermostat part number , put that on ebay jobs done.

Just checked the dial on my newer Merc, which looks like exactly the same dial as you have but on the right of the dash. My temperature sits exactly between the 80 and 100 degree lines, so for Mercs doesn't necessarily line up with my previous very rough rule of thumb that the operating temp should be exactly halfway between the min and max temperatures reported on the dial, but does line up with the 90 degree temp that others have mentioned.
