CLC Door Speaker Case

Hey people..

The MRS shut the seat belt in the door and broke the speaker case

already purchased one off ebay and waiting for it to arrive but when it does was just wondering how to take the old 1 ??

im assuming it is just clipped on and can be done without taking any trim off ?

On the other mercedes forum I was told to take the door card off..

I don't want to ruin anything else the car is my baby lol

Yep. Mine was broken when I purchased the car, w203 coupe, just purchased a replacement for £17 from mb.. looked at new one and realised it just pulled off and pushed in new one..when you get your new one you will see. . You reckon i'd hurt my baby too? Lol

Aaargh phone playing up..just had a chat with my mate...he also said panel might have to come off lol...fun n games, if I'm wrong then sorry. As I said. mine just pulled off, no broken bits anywhere. Just have a look at the new one.if so, This means panel off and be careful of airbag on door I've just been told.

This is a very common area to break on the old C Coupes. From memory the grill is plastic welded in so you might be able to pull it off. Safe route would be to remove the door card, chip off the end of the welds and grill will pop out.
