CLC phone prewired

Just purcahsed a 2008 CLC in the option codes it says it is telephone prep

I have checked the centre console and cannot see a uhi or anything

anyone point me in the right direction

If it has phone pre-wire it will have a UHI connector. It may be under a plastic cover look again.

If the centre console is split in two flick open the right hand part of the console top and the UHI connector should be in there

Armrest lid only open one way on my CLC so wondering if it is somewhere else on CLC models

Quite possible, does the lid look as if it'll split in two?

No lid is one piece.

Will check at work tomorrow as work for merc commercial dealer and have the EPC/WIS

Is it possibly built into the Bluetooth on the Command

OK checked on the computer at work and it is not phone pre wired, hence unable to find connector.
Now ordered a later Audio 20 with bluetooth built in, so will have the fun of changing it at the weekend.
