Clc rear mirrors on cl203 (restyling)

I would like to know if could be possible put the clc rear mirrors on my Cl203 (year 2007).

As detailed in the other thread, the brackets are totally different.

In theory they could be made to fit by a bodyshop but it will no doubt cost a fair wack

It's possible to get aftermarket covers which mimic the style of the later mirrors.

As far as I know the mirrors are identical between the saloon and the sportcoupé, it's practically the only bodywork that IS shared between them!

I could do with someone confirming this with real-world knowledge though.
