Happy bunny today!

Took the E55 on another 1000 jaunt this week with no issues. So I thought I'd treat it to a mechanical once over. I decided to use the boys at Eurocharge in Watford and I couldn't be happier. Not only do they clearly know their Mercedes but they gave the car car the thumbs up! On top of this they opened the worshop specially today just to fit in around by busy work schedule! Top service and nice blokes too! Well worth a look if you're looking for a specialist.

Thoughts of trading it in and getting a C63 are starting to be replaced by the thought of a dollop more power from this car. Hmmm...what to do???

Only if you want a smaller interior, less power, smaller fuel tank etc etc although they do sound nice as they fade into the distance

Sort the cooling then bang on the upgrades

If your using EC already speak with Paul Sav...he will 'enlighten' you on the world of W211 E55 upgrades and mods...for not much outlay you can be looking at around 550hp + torque increase quite easily... which is what I did with mine...

I've already got a 172 (or 175?) bottom pulley, headers, exhaust, race cats, fuel cooling, inlet cooling and a few other bits. Next step will probably be solid s/c pulley, Quaife diff rock and some further cooling if needed.

Should be fun for the summer!

i'll get my coat, and there was me thinking a stock E55, and you were thinking about a stock C63 ??? it would def disappoint, however stick a Weistec on like Acid and Lee

I take you have spoken to Paul re your next choices in upgrades. There's a few ways forward from you spec but all depends what you want from the car.
A c63 will pale in comparison unless you intend to supercharge it.

Personally I'd go for the C63... but then again I'm bias.
