Hi,
I had a black one of these many years ago, lovely car, this one appears to be the same spec and age as mine, except this one seems better nic.
Lovely cars.

I've been badgering the one & only owner of a diamondblue metallic 22,000 mile 1986 735i SE which has lived it's entire life in an underground Mayfair garage & been to the BMW dealer once every year to sell me his car. The last time I saw the car it was truly immaculate, almost too good to use.

Every 4 or 5 months I call him to see if he's in the mood to sell. He's been resiting my efforts for going on 7 years.

Neil, what do you think of this one?.... Its that same silly sounding seller as the one sellling Matt Jones' W123 560E.... Didnt sell last time so must be still available....

Its got the electric rear seats, which the one above does not seem to have so must be a very very rare option......

I personally love them, the 745i turbo would be the one to have, If i ever won the lottery...!

Dee, looks v. nice but the miles would put me off. I like the colour.

Rare as it is I'm not bothered about leccy rear seats, I'd always be the driver. I'd prefer a car with the switchable transmission the low mileage car has.

I had the German spec 745i turbo, which I loved. The ultimate version to have would be a S. African spec 745i. Came with the same 24 valve engine as the M6, 286 bhp as opposed to the turbo's 250-ish. Either way they're both lovely with buffalo hide seats & door cards, suede headliner, lambswool carpets, burl walnut & just about everything as standard.

Though pretty thin on the ground 745i's do very occasionally pop up on ebay. There's a guy in Ivor near Slough who dabbles in them. He had two the last time I saw him, one of which he was breaking. :( I nearly bought the buffalo hide seats & door cards even though I had no car to put them in. They were so nice.

Interior shots - http://bmwturbos.scottiesharpe.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5186 . Lift up the lid of the rear armrest & you have sound system controls & front passenger seat controls to give you extra legroom should you require it.

This guy is into them -http://bmwturbos.scottiesharpe.com/

The guy in Iver, is his name Pete??

I think it is. Australian or S.African perhaps?

Yes, he does seem to have a faded Aussie accent of some sort....

He's quite a prominent member on one of the other (BMW) forums that I used to frequent before my MB days..... He specialises in E30 M3's.
