Anyone know what special lotions and potions Mercedes use to get that show room finish for bodywork and also wheels and also the tyre foam ??

Mercedes own branded cleaning products used to be SONUS if I recall correctly. They probably use Autoglym Lifeshine if you pay for the dealer to apply protection.

If you want easy to buy, apply and results, then Autoglym are pretty good.

If you want to get serious, then you need to step forward into the world of detailing. And prepare to unleash your OCD hidden beneath.

It is much easier to get a gleaming shine on a car that doesn't get used! If you want that look (or better) you need to put lots of effort in, regularly.

Thats not entirely true as if you put the work in you can keep on top of things with a wax every three months (monthly in my case) and clay, polish and wax every 6 months - usually post winter March and again in September.
